Dichotomous Keys

Today we will be learning about Dichotomous Keys.  What is a dichotomous key?  How do you read a dichotomous key?  How do you make a dichotomous key?

Hopefully the two short videos below will help you understand a little bit more about dichotomous keys.

Video:  How to Read a Dichotomous Key

Video:  How to Make a Dichotomous Key

Need more information on how to make a Dichotomous Key?  CLICK HERE.  The two videos on this link have a narrator with an accent.  Can't complain about that!  :)  Enjoy!!!

IMPORTANT!!!  When you are done with the videos, on your Bell Work Exit Ticket write 3 important facts about how to read a dichotomous key and write the steps you follow for making a dichotomous key.  I will check your answers when you hand in your Bell Work on Friday.

After you are done watching the videos on dichotomous keys and have written the information you learned on your Bell Work Exit Ticket, make sure and complete the smiley face dichotomous key on your paper and the complete the textbook review questions on the backside of the smiley face dichotomous key.

This assignment is due tomorrow at the beginning of class.

Good luck and have FUN learning!!!
