Straw Tower Engineers

Challenge: Create a tower out of straws and masking tape that will support the weight of a tennis ball for 5 seconds.  The tallest tower to support the tennis ball wins!  I cannot wait to see what you come up with for your designs!

Before you begin, make sure you read the information on the link below about structural engineering. When you are done reading, write a definition of what a structural engineer is on your paper, and then start designing your tower.

Catapults- STEM Activity

Hello!!!  Welcome to MONDAY! :)  You guys did an amazing job on your end-of-level testing last week.  Thanks for working hard and getting all of those reviews done!  They may not have been super fun, but I know they helped you on your SAGE test.

Next week we will start on our Health Core.  HOORAY!
