Lesson 4.1: Opposite Operations

Today we learned that addition and subtraction are related.  They are inverse operations that reverse each other.  How cool is that?


We have a busy week in math! Make sure and stay with the curriculum map.  Also, don't forget your i-Ready minutes each week.  We want you to complete a minimum of 45 minutes each week.

Lesson 3.12: Mental Math Addition and Subtraction

WELCOME BACK! I hope you all had an amazing FALL BREAK!!!  I know I did 😀 It was my first time to visit San Francisco and The Bay area.  I had an amazing time.  Now, it is time for us to get back to math! HOORAY!

Lesson 3.4 What Does the Equal Sign Mean?

Today we reviewed subtraction and the equal sign.  Even though we didn't watch it in class, there is a great video from Khan Academy that goes into greater detail about the equal sign.  You can watch it by CLICKING HERE. It is a great review of this concept!

After you watch the video, you can CLICK HERE and practice concepts using the equal sign. Don't you just LOVE math??? I know I do!
